Description

Designed to offer flexible and reliable printing for proofing, photography, marketing and fine art requirements, the Epson SureColor SC-P5000 is the first and only 17-inch large format printer to use violet ink for proofing. This means it is able to print near-perfect Pantone matches. In addition, this machine is capable of printing up to A2 size with a DPI of 2880 x 1440.

User-friendly

This printer is designed to be easy to use with a 6.8cm colour LCD screen and can be easily connected to both Windows and Mac systems. If you work in a busy office, the printer can store a maximum of 256MB RAM and accepts file either through a network connection or USB stick. Although the printer is capable of producing large printouts, it is designed to be compact in an office environment, with dimensions of 863‎ x 766 x 406mm.

Professional quality

The printer can handle a paper thickness of 0.8-1.5mm and has a variety of paper-handling features such as auto-cutter, border-less printing, fine art paper path, thick media support and roll paper. The violet ink is designed for pre-press proofing, making it the perfect solution for businesses which need to print packaging, marketing collateral and accurate brand colours.

As one of the most advanced proofing printers available, it can print documents to a 99% Pantone colour accuracy. If you are a photographer or artist, the HDX ink with LLK will enable the printer to produce perfectly detailed artwork, with an almost exact replication of the artwork’s colours.

Reliable printing

The Epson SureColor has some unique features to ensure that day to day reliability is achieved, resulting in very minimal downtime when compared to rival printers. Designers have fitted this printer with specially designed covers and seals to limit dust intrusion and build up. There are also some new automatic features such as a guided cleaning procedure and a thorough nozzle check.
